 <content>\section{Largest Particle Accelerators}

The \PMlinkexternal{Large Hadron Collider (LHC)}{http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Hadron_Collider}--buily by CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research)-- is currently reported as the highest energy particle accelerator; for protons the maximum energy reached at LHC is 7 TeV per proton. Planned experiments are the `hunt' for the Higgs boson(s) and for quantum particles predicted by (quantum) supersymmetry.
